The BUHLMANN GROUP is a medium-sized enterprise specialising in comprehensive solutions
for power station and plant contractors, the chemical and petrochemical industries as
well as shipbuilding and mechanical engineering companies.
The family-owned company was founded in Bremen in 1945 by Karl August Buhlmann and his wife Mathilde, and traded under the name of "Bremer Röhren- und Eisenhandel".

Extensive product range
The BUHLMANN GROUP offers an impressive breadth and depth of high-quality steel tubes and pipes and fittings.
The materials available range from plain carbon steels through to high-alloy stainless steels.
We are continuously adding to and expanding our product range to maintain the standards of a
global business enterprise.
One of our core areas is seamless, alloy steel tubes, stainless steel tubes as well as fittings and flanges conforming to ASTM, DIN and EN standards. Our product portfolio also includes seamless and welded tubes as well as fittings made of non-alloy carbon steel. The range is rounded off by special tubing, fittings and flanges, which are also available in special alloys.
This diversity clearly demonstrates our performance capability and makes the BUHLMANN GROUP a competent supply partner for many industries and application fields across the world.
Logistics
Logistics in line with demand
Being an all-round supplier, the BUHLMANN GROUP is a reliable logistics partner the world over.
Within Europe, a regular, scheduled service three times a week departing from all warehouses ensures
prompt delivery. Depending on the destination, we use either our own vehicles or we employ expert
logistics partners.
The BUHLMANN GROUP works with hauliers specialising in long materials, who offer just the right expertise and know-how.
The BUHLMANN GROUP delivers directly to wherever the materials are needed, as specified by the customer, e.g. to the construction site. Of course, special transport is possible at any time on request.
Time-phased handling of incoming and outgoing goods at the warehouses makes for rapid loading and ensures trucks are not standing idle for long periods.
Project Management
Tube solutions - consulting service for our customers
Full project management − from planning to moving goods − forms an integral part of the customer-oriented range of services. With technical support in particular, the BUHLMANN GROUP coordinates the partners involved on the customer and production side.
The BUHLMANN GROUP provides a rapid logistics service in line with demand for an extensive "off-the-shelf" range of steel tubes and tube accessories in carbon steel and stainless steel. This includes seamless and welded tubes made of corrosion and heat-resistant stainless steels as well as fittings and flanges conforming to ASTM, DIN and EN standards. These products are available within the shortest possible time as we keep them on stock.
If needed, the BUHLMANN GROUP will even undertake the complete construction of pipeline systems in the building of chemical plants and power stations − from planning to actual construction and beyond, and to providing other supplies. Highly qualified teams work out the budget, and take care of material supply and final documentation.
It goes without saying that engineering services and assembly work in projects also count among our capabilities, such as modifications, coatings and procuring customised products to customer specific designs.
